A life-long singer, Dave is an accomplished choral arranger and composer. He has been commissioned for arrangements of tunes of all kinds by LGBT choruses across the country including the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, the Turtle Creek Chorale, the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus, the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, and numerous others. In 2024 he was commissioned by the South Florida Gay Men’s Chorus to write a humorous and searing anthem to call out the flagrant injustices of the chorus’s home state called DON’T SAY GAY, which made quite a splash in the community when it was premiered in June. Most recently he was commissioned to write a fun and raucous piece for the newly formed Portland Sage Singers, a chorus full of queer elders and their allies, called ORGAN RECITAL, which hilariously explores the challenges of aging. It will be premiered at the chorus’s inaugural concert in June 2025.

Many of Dave’s most popular arrangements are available for purchase digitally through Sheet Music Plus. For a complete up-to-date catalogue of all arrangements, click here.
